New Year's Eve Fireworks Downtown

DOWNTOWN. The transition between old and new years always demands a bit of drama, and Denver delivers it in spades. Every December 31, the city puts on dramatic pyrotechnics shows to delight revelers. The glorious displays are planned at 9pm and then again at midnight, accommodating folks with early bedtimes as well as those with more longevity. Keeping the party going late is downtown Denver's diverse supply of bars and restaurants, some 300 strong.
